Welcome to the Harveys web site which we hope will be of assistance to you in your search for quality accommodation in Manchester.

Harveys is a family-run business based in South Manchester with over 18 years' experience in the residential lettings field. With around 40 family-owned flats and houses on our books we feel confident that we can find something to cater for everyone's needs, be they working professionals or full-time students.

What's more, unlike most of the High Street agencies, we do not charge tenants a letting administration fee as all the properties we manage are our own - all you pay is your security deposit (being the equivalent of 5 weeks' rent), half the security deposit insurance premium (currently £30 so £15) and the independent inventory clerk's fee (currently £45-£67, dependent upon the size of the property). We pay for the reference checks, the preparation of the tenancy paperwork, the other half of the security deposit insurance premium and, if necessary, the inventory clerk's fee at the end of the tenancy.

Please note that all our properties are classed as being part-furnished in that all standard furnishings (tables, chairs, desks, beds etc) are provided but personal items such as bedding and kitchen utensils (cuttlery, crockery etc) are not.

All our properties are, of course, inspected and certified annually for gas safety by a CORGI-registered gas engineer and comply with the current electrical and furniture fire regulations. In addition, all our student houses comply with The "Code of Standards" for Shared Student Housing in the Private Rented Sector as defined on the Manchester Student Homes web site.
